The following is a Brief Guide to Diploma Qualifications:
- Diploma
Gives you theoretical knowledge and/or technical and creative skills. Judgment, planning and analysis are involved across a broad range of technical and/or management situations. Diploma courses provide training for the skills necessary for supervisory positions, for running a small business, for working closely with experienced professionals, or for operating at a high level in a technical capacity.

Advanced Diploma
Recognises the ability to apply principles and techniques in a wide range of contexts. This is the highest qualification offered by TAFE Institutes. Advanced Diploma courses provide training for supervisory and middle management positions, or for operating at a high level of expertise within a particular skill area.
